| Jolly Hayden, Vice President Transmission Development, FPL Energy, LLC J. Jolly Hayden is the vice president of Transmission Development for FPL Energy, LLC, a competitive energy supplier with a presence in 25 states and Canada. Mr. Hayden, joined FPL Energy in November 2006. His key responsibilities are to direct FPL Energy’s growth in transmission investment opportunities through origination, development and the construction of all projects. He is also the president of Lone Star Transmission, LLC, a subsidiary of FPL Energy, which is developing transmission projects in key U.S. locations. Prior to joining FPL Energy, Mr. Hayden was at Calpine where his responsibilities included transmission origination, system analysis and market integration. Before his association with Calpine, Mr. Hayden was the vice president of Power Delivery for Dynegy Marketing and Trade. He joined Dynegy in 1995 as director of Operations and Trading. Mr. Hayden holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in industrial technology from Eastern Kentucky University. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. and of the National Society of Professional Engineers. In addition, Mr. Hayden is a registered professional engineer in the state of Kentucky. Mr. Hayden resides with his family in Bellaire, Texas. |
