| Justin Dawe, Project Manager, Horizon Wind Energy Justin Dawe is a Project Manager for Horizon Wind Energy, managing the company's work in Maine. Justin's responsibilities include managing multiple aspects of wind power project development, from site selection to land acquisition, wind studies, permitting, engineering, community relations, transmission, and assessment of project financial viability. Prior to Horizon, Justin worked as an engineer and engineering project manager in Silicon Valley. He also spent three years in the non-profit sector as an energy policy analyst, where his experiences included helping to develop and manage the nation's first statewide renewable energy ballot initiative- a 10% renewable portfolio standard which was voted into law by Colorado's voters in 2004. Justin holds a BS in Manufacturing Engineering and an MS in Engineering Economic Systems, both from Stanford University, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School. He was born and raised in Hawaii, and finds the Maine winter quite brisk. |
