| Sara J. Burns, President and Chief Executive Officer, Central Maine Power Company Sara J. Burns is President and Chief Executive Officer of Central Maine Power Company, a subsidiary of Energy East Corporation. Sara was named president of CMP in September 1998 and became CEO in July of 2005. She began her career with CMP as a manager of risk management in 1987. In her years with the company, Sara has served as chief operating officer, vice president of human resources, and director of financial services. Sara also serves on the boards of Maine & Company, Maine Health, the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Overseers at Colby College, and Common Good Ventures. Sara is a graduate of Colby College. Before joining CMP in 1987, she had been with Unum Corp. |
